London -- A 38-year-old golfer hit a 230-yard hole-in-one, but was later told it was on the wrong green.
According to The Mirror, Will Humphreys was aiming for the 10th hole when his ball flew across a train line and dropped straight into the 17th.
"The shot was majestic, but in the wrong direction. I was surprised I hadn‘t ended someone‘s life prematurely," Humphreys was quoted, as saying.
Will, of Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire, finished 10th in the friendly tournament. He was given a special prize at the Shrewsbury Golf Club presentation dinner and is keeping his lucky ball. (ANI)
