Sydney -- Keeping faith with its World Cup squad, the Cricket Australia selection committee today named their squad for theTwenty20 World Cup to be held in South Africa in September.
Ricky Ponting will captain the side.
Announcing the squads for the Twenty20 World Cup and for the one day series in India, besides the Australia `A‘ squad, the Chairman of selectors, Andrew Hilditch, said in a Cricket Australia statement, that the selectors felt the World Cup winning side deserved the chance to prove they could perform to the highest standards in both shorter forms of the game
