iSteve ranked #21 on Amazon's Top 100 Books

Steve Jobs' biography is already a hit, eight months before its official launch, says online book seller Amazon.

One of the World’s most desired gadget maker Apple’s CEO and founder Steve Jobs' official biography is already a big hit, months before its publication. Apple, which is regarded as the most secretive about its products and its daily business activities, has kept the official launch date for the book on March 6, 2012.

Although it is still around eight month before the book hits the stands, but the online retailer Amazon has started taking pre-orders for the official Steve Jobs.

‘iSteve: The Book of Jobs' is available for pre-order at a cost of $18.00 USD for the hardcover copy and $14.99 USD for the digital kindle edition. As per Amazon, the hilariously titled book is the 13th most popular book on Amazon at the time of its writing.

The book is already ranked at #21 in Amazon’s top 100 books, and is the #1 book in the retailer’s Technology Department. Clearly Apple fans are very keen to know what goes on inside the Jobs Towers.

Steven Paul “Steve” Jobs, the American business magnate and inventor became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006. He had also served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios. Steve was also the executive producer in the 1995 movie Toy Story.

His biography was first announced in April and is published by Simon & Schuster and is written by Walter Isaacson. Isaacson is the president and chief executive of the Aspen Institute and a former managing director of TIME.

Isaacson has written this biography after three years of extensive interviews with Jobs, his family members, colleagues and competitors. Isaacson is well known for his biography work on Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein and Henry Kissinger.

iSteve should make an interesting read for Apple’s customers and for others working in the technology sector as Jobs & Co. has simply not communicated with media often in the past.
