U.N. Security Council, on Thursday, granted Arab nations’ request and headed for global incursion against Muammar Qadhafi’s armed forces.

UNSC voted for imposing no-fly zone over Libya and authorized military actions in protection of Libyan civilians.

The resolution came five days after League of Arab nations pleaded UNSC, UN's most influential governing body, to impede the advancements made by Qadhafi’s armed forces against Libyan rebels and civilians.

Meantime, UNSC has also imposed a no-fly zone over Libya as Qadhafi’s armed forces resorted to using warplanes, artillery, tanks and rockets against the protesters.

In this context, Bernard Valero, the spokesman for French Foreign Ministry said, “Despite all negative comments, Libya shows that there is a political and diplomatic dynamic of European construction and an active European voice in world affairs,”

Great Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron affirmed that his nation will deploy Typhoon and Tornado fighter jets to help impose a no-fly zone over Libya.

Mr. Cameron told lawmakers on Friday that Britain will unite and adhere to UNSC plans of halting “a brutal attack using air, land and sea forces” on the city of Benghazi, under control of the rebels.
