Weinstein co. gets multi-territory rights to ‘Invisible Target’

Washington : American film studio, The Weinstein Company has bagged North American rights for Hong Kong-China action flick ‘Invisible Target’.
The film studio has also picked up rights for Australia and South Africa from producer and sales shingle Universe Intl.
Direct-to-video label TWC has not yet set release plans for the flick, which is helmed by ‘New Police Story’ director Benny Chan, Variety magazine reports.
The Jackie Chan's son Jaycee Chan starrer is set to release in some parts of Asia next week with Universe taking care of Hong Kong, Poly Bona giving it a wide 500-print outing in mainland China, Innoform handling in Singapore and Grand Brilliance in Malaysia.
The 8 million dollar pic also stars actors Nicolas Tse, Shawn Yue and martial artist and actor Wu Jing.
The movie follows a group of young cops as they pursue a group of young robbers. (ANI)
