Business Industrial Network increases their industrial product line by introducing a new industrial software suite designed for the Palm PDA operating systems.
Business Industrial Network increases their industrial product line by introducing a new industrial software suite designed for the Palm PDA operating systems. The Electrist, the first program of the suite recently released on the market has already received rave reviews by end-users in the industry. With over one hundred downloads of the free trial, the palm software may be one of Business Industrial Network’s most popular online products lines yet. The Electrist has the most complete set of electrical and electronic calculations, over 90 formulas & variations. Some of the electronic calculators are Ohm’s Law, resistor color code, inductance, capacitance, decibels and more. Some of the electrical calculators are voltage and current dividers, peak-to-peak, Delta/Wye conversion and more. One of the key features that make the Electrist stand out from other similar calculators is it’s use of AWG, metric, custom conductor sizes, conductor voltage drop and conductor size selection calculators.
We have had several sales where technicians have actually purchased their first Palm specifically to run the conductor voltage drop and size selection calculators. What makes these two calculators so popular? A voltage drop calculator capable of giving the drop over any length of conductor when given the length and AWG, metric, or user-custom size units. A conductor size selection calculator which when given parameters such as current, length, and maximum voltage drop will return the minimum size of conductor to do the job using ampacity ratings based on NEC Table 310-16.
Future updates to this calculator will include the ability to return the conductor in metric and user-specified sizes and use other ampacity standards beyond NEC Table 310-16 as well. This palm software also comes with life time free update which makes the new product fall in line with Business Industrial Network’s goal to always give the customer more than they expect.
This new Palm PDA based software suite is ideal for Business Industrial Network’s current industrial training customers, at the same time programs like the Electrist will attract new customers like residential electricians, electronic technicians, as well as engineering professionals, students, and hobbyist.
Business Industrial Network’s core business has always been to deliver on-site customized PLC training. The company currently offers over 50 informational products online at affordable prices to fill other needs of their current customer base. The Electrist and other palm programs scheduled for future release are being developed by Red Binary and will be downloadable from Business Industrial Network’s websites. (www.BIN95.com/palm/)
Among the future titles to be released: - Magnetist: Electromagnetic & Transformer calculations companion to Electrist - Motorizer: Motor HP, torque, & related calculations companion to Electrist - RedMech: Maintenance Scheduling, Tracking, & Running Cost Of Ownership - RedFleet: Integrated fleet management tools - Primary: Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS)
Students, Hobbyists, and Professionals in 33 states, 19 countries, and 2 branches of the US Armed Forces have registered Electrist. Many customers have been quoted giving the new palm software (Electrist) rave reviews, such as Very intuitive and well designed application. I’ve registered other electronics formula type programs but find this one to be the best in its class. The future release of palm PDA calculators designed by Red Binary will make great additions to Business Industrial Network’s product line.
Business Industrial Network always strives to give the customer more than they expect. A summary of their offerings are; on-site PLC training, training seminars and online educational maintenance books, ebooks, software and CDs. www.BIN95.com 573-547-5630

| Bucks County Pennsylvania Native Creates Popular Web Site Design - Nov 21, 2004 13:42 IST |
|
Tucked deep into the lush green countryside north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in an office with the appropriate wood stove and cluttered filing system, the founder of Cre8asiteForums, Kim Krause, waits for members of her team to wake up. There’s a problem. Okay a few of them. Ammon Johns, her co-Administrator lives in the UK. Bill Slawski, her night owl other co-Administrator, hails from the state of Delaware. Rarely does Kim make a decision without first discussing it with her team. “We learned early on that our Moderators in New Zealand and Australia were feeling left out of some of our planning. This became a key to how we eventually came to deliver the entire forums to members. To be creative, you need to listen to ideas and take risks. You also have to wait for people to get out of bed and log on,” Kim says.

| Website Marketing Package a Lonely Figure - Nov 21, 2004 13:18 IST |
|
Perhaps the first reason is because marketing planning, like business planning, is a step that is skipped by many smaller and even medium-sized businesses. Marketing is a series of advertising initiatives and a series of marketing ideas. Many of these ideas are ingenious, organic and developed with a deep understanding of what the target market wants. More likely is that those with marketing skills prefer to provide their skills on an hourly basis, just like other professionals. This approach does not lend itself to packaging but, rather, relies on trust, a face-to-face relationship and personal communication. Truly, buying marketing services and expertise does require trust because a business owner who hires a marketing expert is placing in their hands not only some fees and potential new revenue resulting from the marketing, but the entire reputation which means the history and, to some extent, the future of the business.
