Elle B., a company specializing in silver and glass beaded jewelry, has launched their website: www.ellebstyle.com. Elle B. jewelry makes use of sterling and fine silver, vibrant modern, vintage and Venetian glass, artisanal lampwork, ceramic, and semi-precious stone beads. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and handmade. Graceful movement and lively color make Elle B. jewelry playful and distinctive – “adornment for uninhibited women.”
Lisa Braithwaite, the artist and the “LB” behind Elle B., has been designing vibrant wearable art for more than 20 years. “I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t making jewelry,” says Ms. Braithwaite, a Santa Barbara native. “The glossy colors of the beads, the cool, smooth shapes, the shine of silver . . . jewelry is mesmerizing to me! My mission is to design one-of-a-kind, high-quality, nontraditional jewelry that complements a woman’s personal style with playful color and sparkle. Elle B. provides an alternative to trendy, mass-produced jewelry and accessories, and invites women to stand out from the crowd.”
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Ms. Braithwaite is the co-founder of Body Electric, a nonprofit organization in Santa Barbara that promotes participation, recognition and celebration of local women and girls in sports and physical activity.
