Holistic Junction sponsors weekly poetry challenges beginning on Sunday, with entries being judged and announced the following Saturday.

Holistic Junction is excited to cordially invite you to our Poetry Challenge Forum! Each week, we will offer a new literary venture in which you may participate!
Our Current Poetry Challenge will begin on Sunday, November 21st, 2004. Winners will be announced the following Saturday, November 27th, 2004.
All poetry challenges are sponsored each week beginning on Sunday, with entries being judged and announced the following Saturday.
A Weekly Blue Ribbon Winner will be critiqued and chosen from all Poetry Challenge Entries. Winners will have the honor of being displayed for the ensuing week on our Weekly Winner’s Page.
Additionally, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place winners will receive HolisticJunction.com’s premiere Certificates of Honor; which you may download and print for personal and public display.
To ENTER this weeks’ Poetry Challenge, please submit your poetry through normal submission protocol. *In addition to your own, unique title, please label your submissions with the word Challenge, so as to be included in the weekly judging.

Please have your entries submitted by 06:00pm EST on Friday, November 26th, 2004.
Entries do NOT have to be titled with the theme, however they must relate to it in some form or fashion.

Gingerbread LittleVersity, a childcare facility, will be holding a Hop-A-Thon at the Uptown Gingerbread LittleVersity location on November 30, 2004. The proceeds will be donated to Muscular Dystrophy research. Members of the community may sponsor a child by pledging per hop, or by giving a flat donation.

Grant funds will be used by the Arizona Native American Business Development Center, a department of the National Center, to assist Indian entrepreneurs in Arizona with their business development needs. According to Ken Robbins, President of the National Center “we provide an array of business assistance to our Indian clients such as writing business plans, feasibility studies, as well as helping them put together loan applications for start-up or expansion of their businesses. Last year, with just over $2 million in funding, we were able to secure $670 million in contracts and financing for Native American businesses. The first set of 10 homes - 5 in The Classics and 5 in The Estates - were released at 10:20 a.m.; by 11:15 a.m., the homes were sold out, and the homebuilder released 7 more: 4 in The Classics and 3 in The Estates. The additional 7 homes were sold by 1:30 p.m., Saturday afternoon.
