Howlett Research Corp. Publishes Updated Research Report on Paradym Ventures   - Nov 26, 2004 13:47 IST
Howlett Research Corp. (www.howlett-research.com), a boutique research firm led by Jeff Howlett, President, announced today that it has recently published an updated research report on Paradym Ventures Inc. (Paradym) (TSX-V: PVI) (www.paradymventures.com). Paradym became active in the oil & gas sector in January, 2003, acquiring a 7% interest in a multi-zoned project in Trutch, B.C. encompassing roughly 23,100 acres. In December, 2003, the company announced its participation in the Carway project, which encompasses roughly 15,000 acres in southern Alberta. Both properties have large scale potential for multiple oil & gas horizons based on logs, test results and comparable wells in the areas.
At Carway, a drillhole was suspended in August, 2004 at a depth of 2,795 meters due to limited porosities. Subsequent analysis of drilling results and well logs indicates that the targeted horizons were higher than anticipated, and newly acquired seismic indicates a large, deeper structure which effectively pushed the upper zones higher (creating the tighter, less permeable upper zones).
