MIG Records Brings the Triple Threat to LA Convention Center This Weekend! RU, Adrienne, Fantasy Twins
After a media tour and two powerful performance nights this past weekend in San Francisco at The Forum and Space 550 night clubs, MIG Records’ Triple Threat of international recording artists RU, Adrienne and the Fantasy Twins are preparing to hit the Los Angeles Convention Center this Friday (November 26) and Saturday (November 27) as part of the ShowOff Café Classic Entertainment Showcase, with DJ Battle, for the Los Angeles International Car Show.
MIG Records is a new, dynamic independent record label based in Los Angeles, California, owned by Dr. Henry Jones. Over the past couple years, we have taken great effort to identify and nurture a group of talented artists that we are confident will have a significant impact on the world of music. As we move toward our nationwide launch on January 25, 2005, I am optimistic that our performers, such as the Triple Threat of RU, Adrienne and the Fantasy Twins, will be very well received.
While in San Francisco, RU (www.ruatmig.com), the internationally celebrated, Russian-born pop duo of Katia Jones and Ksenia Linkova, opened for number one Russian pop band Strilke to a crowd of nearly a thousand, barely clearing out in time to make it to their second performance of the night at the Forum. RU is the center of worldwide celebrity intrigue over their music video, More Than A Lover with International Hockey stars, Sergei (Anaheim Ducks) and Fedor (Vancouver Canucks) Fedorov. After opening for Nina Sky and with over 1/2 million hits on the web in less than a month RU is, as Pravda, Russia’s number one news source quoted, America’s answer to Russian Viagra!
Hong Kong-born Adrienne Lau (www.adriennelau.com) is breaking out. Collaborations with international recording stars such as Mya, to her upcoming profile with one of Asia’s largest newspapers, the Sing Tsao and showcase on AM1430 with host Xavier Lam and a pending media tour of Taiwan and Hong Kong, Adrienne is sexy, talented and slated to rock the dance charts around the world.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, and educated in Japan, Erika and Lisa Kim are the Fantasy Twins and round out the Triple Threat. They have shared a stage with Beyoncé and Sean Paul (BRE Conference 2003) to roaring ovations, tore down the house at an international feature film event are the definition of exotic style and unequivocal talent to the world of electronic dance.
